About Brendan:
Like many, it took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to pursue for a career. Through several twists and turns, one thing remained constant: a love of sharing knowledge and enthusiasm for learning.
My instructional design journey started at my first job. I was tasked with making instruction manuals simply because no one else knew how to operate the camera - or use Photoshop! It was here I learned valuable lessons in working with SMEs, collecting feedback, and iterating design.
It would be several more years before I made the leap to instructional design, LMS management, and curriculum development full-time. But I can now honestly say I love what I do!

The highlight of my day for the past 8 years was taking my dog Butters for daily walks or hikes - no matter what the weather was like - right up until his untimely passing in February 2026. I adore animals (especially dogs) and love to spend as much time around them as possible.
In my free time, I’m an avid cyclist, writer and producer of music, builder of miniatures, gardener, and tinkerer for car or home repair projects. I also love sharing ancient family recipes (check out my marinara podcast!), attending concerts and New York Yankees games, and am a certified Formula 1/motorsports nut.
